KTM has entered the electric street bike market with the unveiling of the KTM E-Duke. Recently spotted as a prototype, this all-electric bike combines KTM’s sharp, sporty design with a clean, zero-emission motor.

It marks the brand’s first major move toward electrifying its street lineup while keeping its performance-focused image intact.

Battery and Speed

The KTM E-Duke runs on a 10kW electric motor and a 5.5kWh battery. While official specs are yet to be confirmed, it’s expected to deliver performance similar to a 125cc petrol bike.

The real-world range should be around 100 to 150 km on a full charge, making it well-suited for daily commutes and city rides.

Cool and Modern Design

The E-Duke stays true to KTM’s streetfighter style, using the same frame as the 390 Duke with a steel trellis chassis, high-quality suspension, and an aluminum swingarm.

Its sharp, aggressive design is matched by a sleek digital display for a modern touch. Details like air ducts and faux tank panels show smart design choices for cooling and battery placement.

Easy Charging Setup

One key feature of the E-Duke is its built-in charging port, which likely includes an onboard charger. This lets riders charge the bike directly without needing extra gear—just plug it in and charge. It shows KTM’s focus on making their electric bikes practical and easy to use for everyday riding.

Built in India, Sold Globally

Thanks to KTM’s close partnership with Bajaj Auto, the E-Duke is expected to be manufactured in India at Bajaj’s Chakan plant.

This local production could help keep costs down, with an expected price around ₹2 lakh, making it an affordable and exciting option in the performance electric bike segment.

What’s Coming Soon

Still in its prototype stage, the KTM E-Duke offers a strong mix of sporty performance and eco-friendly mobility. As electric two-wheelers grow in popularity, KTM’s entry could redefine what riders expect from an electric motorcycle.

For enthusiasts who want both excitement and sustainability, the E-Duke is definitely one to watch as it gets closer to hitting the roads.
